As shared in a community update on November 6, 2023 (view here), Nouvel has streamlined our needs-based tuition assistance process by working with FACTS, a grant and aid assessment tool. It is our goal to make every effort to increase accessibility to a Nouvel education.

• FACTS is an independent third-party provider that a vast majority of private schools in the country use.  Applications for aid/awards are completed online, directly through FACTS, a secure and verified site. 
• This service will provide our tuition assistance committee with verified information to best assist in the disbursement of our needs based financial aid dollars.  
• Many families have already completed this process to be eligible for Catholic Community Foundation of Mid-Michigan scholarships.
• Nouvel will be hosting opportunities on each campus for families to receive one-on-one assistance while completing their FACTS application.

In addition to ensuring our tuition assistance process is more secure and more effective, it is our goal to collaborate better with our partners at the Catholic Community Foundation of Mid-Michigan (CCFMM), allowing families more time to apply for these tuition assistance opportunities.

• Families can now apply for both CCFFM scholarships and Nouvel tuition assistance as early as November 6th.
• One streamlined process for families to input their information once, rather than two separate application processes/timelines.
• Nouvel tuition assistance applications will remain open until the traditional March 1st deadline, providing a benefit to families that would like to complete early and to those who prefer the traditional February timeline.
• Applications for aid/awards are completed online, directly through FACTS, a third-party grant and aid assessment tool.
• FACTS will verify the documentation provided and send income verification to Nouvel’s tuition assistance committee.
• FACTS conducts the confidential financial analysis to determine your family's financial need. Nouvel’s tuition assistance committee receives a confidential report outlining your financial situation and need for assistance
