Dear Parents of Nouvel Catholic Central Seniors,

Exciting News! The Senior Class is going on an overnight retreat.  Our retreat is scheduled for Monday, November 24 - Tuesday, November 25th.  The retreat will be held at Hartley Outdoor Education Center in Saint Charles, MI.  The retreat will be focused on unifying students in faith so they can take their Catholic Faith seriously and live it authentically beyond the halls of Nouvel. They will have the opportunity to grow in their understanding of the love and compassion of Jesus and the Saints and to grow in who they are as a child of God while also participating in Mass, Reconciliation, and Eucharistic Adoration along with team building exercises and indoor/outdoor recreation.

Students will report to school as normal on Monday the 24th and board a bus for Hartley.  Meals and overnight accommodations will be provided.  Students are excused from all sports practices and extra-curricular activities they may miss Monday afternoon/evening due to the retreat. (If the Football team advances through Playoffs and is in need of accommodations for practice we will make arrangements for them.) The Bus will return students to school by 3:00 pm on Tuesday November 25th.  

Although the cost of retreat is over $135 per student we are asking for only $50 to cover this amazing experience.  Attached you will find a packing list and a link to several forms that must be submitted with payment by Friday, November 14th. Please note that the Physician form only needs to be signed by a doctor if a student is not yet 18 and has medications that must be administered during our stay.

The $50 payment can be made below or your child can bring cash or check made out to Nouvel Catholic Central.

Class retreats are required for all students. This is the Senior class retreat so if a student is unable to attend due to illness or any other reason they must make arrangements to attend another approved retreat experience at their home parish or elsewhere on their own time in order to make it up.  Thank you so much for your support and consideration.  God Bless you!
