We are Nouvel Catholic Central, called by Christ to learn, love and lead... courageously.
A suburban and natural setting with ample cultural and recreational opportunities. Both buildings are nestled in the heart of Saginaw Township, with our elementary building sharing a campus with St. Thomas Aquinas Parish on State Street and our high school and junior high building sharing a campus with the Catholic Diocese of Saginaw on Wieneke Road. Each building houses classrooms, a media center, computer labs, band rooms and gymnasiums, with large outdoor play spaces at the elementary and a state-of-the-art sports complex and performance training center at the high school and junior high.
Nouvel offers instruction to students PreK3 through 12th grade. Our total enrollment averages 600 with roughly 60% at the elementary levels and 40% at the high school and junior high level.
Our elementary students are offered comprehensive courses that follow Common Core Math and reading support is available to both high and low learners, as well as an advanced math curriculum. Students participate in a variety of electives including band/music, art, STEM and physical education. These courses continue as our junior high students transition to the high school/junior high campus with elective offerings and additional opportunities. Comprehensive college preparatory courses are offered to our high school students, including honors and advanced placement classes. A variety of electives are offered, some of which include band, art, engineering, zoology, Spanish, marketing and forensics. Students also have the opportunity to take part in dual enrollment, co-op, online classes and attend Saginaw Career Complex.
On average, we have 65 educators on faculty at the full-time, part-time and support staff levels. With 80% of our faculty holding advanced level degrees, our teachers are fully equipped to provide a foundational educational experience in and out of the classroom.
