Nouvel Catholic Central provides an athletic program that develops our student-athletes through education and competition. Nouvel athletes have won 30 State Championship/runner up finishes and 81 MHSAA Regional Championships. Our program has proudly produced 8 MHSAA Scholar-Athlete Scholarship recipients and numerous Academic All-State and MHSAA Good Sports are Winners teams.

Nouvel offers 22 Varsity Sports with more than 70% participation rate among our high school students. Research indicates a strong and positive correlation between high school sports participation and academic achievement. Lessons learned on the playing field are lifelong; sportsmanship, leadership, respect, honor and discipline. Nouvel students study hard, but they also play hard! In 2007-08, Nouvel made Michigan high school sports history by becoming the first school to have its boys' football team and girls' basketball team win state titles in consecutive years.  We are proud to offer year round training at our State-of-the-Art on-campus. Performance Training Center and access to an Athletic Trainer.
