In an effort to recognize our students for their exemplary service in and out of school, each month, Nouvel Catholic Central High School will acknowledge one high school student as "Student of the Month."

All submitted nominations will be reviewed on a monthly basis and one student will be chosen, based on the criteria below:

• Student's positive influence on the NCCHS student body through exemplary qualities of moral character, citizenship, service and/or leadership.
• Student's involvement in extracurricular activities.
• Student's ability to maintain a minimum of a "C" average.

When nominating a student, please keep the following guidelines in mind:

• Students should NOT solicit a nomination.
• Nomination forms are reviewed by the committee the beginning of each month for the following month and (i.e., the December student of the month will be selected from those students nominated the beginning of November).
• Nomination forms are held onto for future months when there are multiple nominations.
• Students will be notified of their nominator.
• A student can only be selected as SOTM once a fiscal school year.
