Students in 1st-5th grade are invited to join us for a "Fundamentals of Football" co-ed, after school clinic on Thursdays from 3:15-4:30 p.m., April 20th through May 25th.
The focus will be on introducing young athletes to the building blocks of football, including proper stances, blocking, shoulder tackling, running, throwing and catching. We will also utilize the Hawk Shoulder Tackling System (made famous by Pete Carroll), which greatly reduces head contact and injury.
The clinic will be run by high school and middle school coaches as well as current and former college football players (D1, D2 and D3).
Cost: FREE. Students are welcome to come to all sessions, or drop in when they can. Please sign up in advance to give our volunteers an idea of how many students are interested.
