Continuous Enrollment FAQs

Continuous enrollment is a simple, one-time process. Once you sign your contract, you'll never have to deal with re-enrollment paperwork again. You will be part of Nouvel Catholic Central until you tell us otherwise, and your child's spot will be secure through graduation. Each year you will need to update your payment authorization and pay a family tuition deposit by March 1. That tuition deposit will be applied to your total tuition cost for the school year.

If your family situation changes, you have until March 1 each year to notify the school and face absolutely no penalty.

For planning and budgeting purposes, we need to know how many students to plan on for the first day of school each year. Nouvel Catholic Central makes decisions early in the spring, essential to the retaining and hiring of staff, classes and purchasing additional curriculum and materials. We rely closely on enrollment projections, per grade level to make the most informed decisions, allowing us to be the best stewards of tuition dollars.

Every February there will be a communication reminder from the school informing our families that our annual family tuition deposit is due by March 1. Once that is submitted, their child's spot is secured for the following school year.

If, for any reason, a family does not plan to return to Nouvel Catholic Central the following school year, we ask that they "opt out" of continuous enrollment by communicating their plans to leave by March 1.

Having accurate enrollment information by March 1 is an essential part of our planning process, necessary for determinging academic and extracurricular offerings as well as scholarship and financial aid awards.

Changes can continue to be made any point in the year by calling our Business Office. You can switch your electronic funds transfer account, payment frequency or other information concerning your financial commitment.

We will still continue to ask parents to review and verify additional personal information online as needed, as well as update any information that requires an annual update (sports physicals, media release, etc.). This information is not part of the reenrollment process so it will not be changing. However, we will continue to look for easier ways to do these updates.

Your future plans will influence our current decisions. Since crucial staffing, curriculum and building decisions are made in the spring, we rely on enrollment numbers to make the most informed decisions. For that reason, if you opt out of your contract for the following school year, by March 1, there is no penalty.

However, if you notify us of your decision to leave after submitting your paperwork and family tuition fee:
- Between March 2 and June 30, you would lose your non-refundable family tuition deposit.
- July 1 or later, you would lose your non-refundable family tuition deposit and Nouvel Catholic Central will charge you one month of the upcoming year's tuition.

You can continue to apply for financial aid annually and the timing will stay the same. The deadline to submit for financial aid will be March 1 and notification on assistance will be on or before the week of April 15, 2024.

Our leadership team does a lot of planning to ensure that we're prepared to successfully fulfill our mission every year. In order to make the best plans for staffing, programs, materials, curriculum and facility usage, we need to know how many students to expect in each grade level, per year. If a family plans to reenroll but then withdrawals before the first day of school, our planning is significantly impacted.

Based on families' feedback for an easier process and still needing to effectively plan each year, we began looking at other practices. We found some of the best-in-class schools use the continuous enrollment model to meet the needs of both the families and school.

Continuous enrollment went into effect during the 2023-24 school year. Each year, we will ask current families to update their payment information and make their annual family tuition deposit by March 1. We look forward to serving Nouvel Catholic Central families in this way and making the process even more convenient.
