Nouvel Catholic Central provides an athletic program that develops our student-athletes through education and competition. Since our inception in 1984, Nouvel athletes have won 30 State Championship/runner up finishes and 81 MHSAA Regional Championships. Our program has proudly produced 8 MHSAA Scholar-Athlete Scholarship recipients and numerous Academic All-State and MHSAA Good Sports are Winners teams.
Several of our student-athletes will go on to compete at the collegiate level each year. Alumni have even represented the Panthers on the biggest stages of athletics.
Nouvel Athletics embodies the principle of Christ-centered competition, developing young leaders in their relationship with Jesus Christ.
Athletic Offerings
Nouvel proudly provides both competitive team sports, as well as training clinics, for Panthers of all ages.
Elementary students have the opportunity to attend various clinics throughout the school year. Past events include Panther Cubs Basketball Clinic (Young Fives through 2nd grade) and Fundamentals of Football After School Program (grades 2nd through 5th). Many students will play in various leagues throughout Saginaw Township and the surrounding community.
Our older elementary and junior high students have the opportunity to compete together through fall, winter and spring sports offerings.
The culmination of athletic offerings happens at the high school level. With 22 varsity sports available to our students, Nouvel offers a great opportunity for student-athletes to compete and excel in multiple sports. In fact, more than 70% of our students are involved in at least one sport, with several being three sport athletes.
