Nouvel Catholic Central believes that a student’s personal appearance has an impact on her/his attitude as well as behavior, and therefore, the learning process. Respect for both the individual and the school is manifested by an attitude of “dressing up” for school. The dress code is designed to assist students in making decision about appropriate dress, personal responsibility and self-discipline. Students are to appear neat, clean and well groomed at all times. The NCC dress code is based on modesty, neatness, cleanliness, good taste and safety.

When students do not comply with the dress code, faculty members have not only the right, but also the obligation to refer the student to the discipline office. Since the parent is the primary educator of the student, it is the parent’s responsibility to ensure their son/daughter is in correct dress code on a daily basis while on the campus of Nouvel and at school functions.

Students should be dressed modestly and in accordance with the philosophy of the school when attending all Nouvel events.
